Please complete ALL required forms and return to your church or the CCBA office.
Operation Love in Action is an opportunity for volunteers to do missions here in
Hopkinsville/Christian County. There are 14 different missions/evangelism teams from
which to choose.
$35.00 till the DEADLINE of June 1st. Registration fee
and a signed Background Check Permission Form must be sent to CCBA. If you have
a background check form on file or participated last year, disregard. All forms will be
available at your Church and Christian County Baptist Association Building.

Kick Off, Worship, and Red Shirt Sunday will be Sunday, July 12, 6:00 pm at Second Baptist Church for ALL volunteers and their families.
Breakfast and Lunch is provided for all volunteers each day at First Baptist Church. Breakfast and devotion is at 7:00 am - Lunch at Noon. Lunch will be provided for those at a work sites who cannot leave at noon.
Please choose 3 ministries in order of preference in which you, personally, would like or agree to participate (See the list of ministries on the back of this page). Teams will be made up of individuals from different churches depending on preferences. We will have several teams at different locations doing a variety of mission projects and ministries.
**All volunteers are encouraged to help with Friday’s Block Party**
Operation “Love in Action” Mission Teams and Projects
Listed below are descriptions of each mission team or project.
1. Backyard Bible Clubs – Will be held at various locations, doing Bible study & crafts, for 4 days. Help with the Block Party on Fri.
2. Block Parties – Two small block parties will be held at various locations during the week. One large community party on Friday afternoon at the Fair Grounds with a crusade to follow.
3. Car Clinic – Oil change gift certificates, windshield wipers & tire pressure check, and car wash (youth can help with car wash).
4. Community Service – Yard work, planting shrubs, flowers, picking up trash, washing windows (homes or business), clean house, light jobs of painting.
5. Construction/Renovations – Home repairs, painting, handicap ramps, etc. for none church members.
6. Cookie Ministry – Making, baking, & wrapping cookies at 2nd Baptist Church. Help deliver the goodies to different people and places as the team decides. Example; The market place, police station, hospital, sports field - sharing the love of Jesus.
7. Food Team – Responsible for breakfast and lunch for volunteers each day cooking at FBC.
8. Haircuts (free) – Trained barbers and cosmetologists for the week.
9. Hospital/Nursing Homes Ministry – Provide snacks, magazines, in waiting rooms and goodies for staff each day. Do crafts & games with residents in assisted living homes each day
10. Impact Ministry – Helping to clean, sort clothes, parking lot party/health clinic, Bible Study with children each day, and various projects.
11. Special Needs Ministry – Working with the residents of different agencies, doing special things like games, crafts, and Bible study.
12. Sports Camp – Taking drinks to practice fields each day and/or plan a day camp for un-churched youth, for the week. Other activities having to do with sports. Help with Friday Block Party.
13. Evangelism/ Prayer /Crusade Team – Door to door evangelism with special morning prayer time for the day’s activities. Help plan and work the Evangelism Event scheduled for Friday after Block Party.
14. Canvass/Promotion – Canvass areas where activities will take place during OLIA, by handing out flyers. This will be done the week before July 13th.
